BRIEF NOTES FROM SUBFLOW REPORT

ADWR POWERPOINT PRESENTATION FROM SIERRA VISTA

HIGHLIGHTS FROM DEC. 14 CONFERENCE

The Special Master George Schade, Jr. held a conference in Sierra Vista to address twenty objections and comments filed to the Subflow Delineation Report dated June 2009, prepared by the Arizona Department of Water Resources.

The Special Master had previously reviewed the objections referred to him. The majority describe existing wells, some history, and current or planned water uses. Many did not provide technical information. Several objections describe the artesian nature of a well or wells with one objection possibly being outside the scope of this phase of the case.

Only one person filing an objection was in attendance. The Special Master explained that an order would be forth coming that would provide until Jan. 31st for those who had filed individual objections to expand their objection and focus on the original directive - limiting comments to ADWR’s finding regarding lateral extent of the subflow zone - addressing the science utilized.
